Évora

Due to the great acceptance of the Valouro's feedstuffs all over and as well as, the pressure made by the Alentejo’s customers, that already amounted around 1.000 t/month, there was the need to establish a distribution warehouse this region. Therefore, the Board decided to implement a warehouse in Évora, in a privileged location – inside the industrial area and, once again, with the great advantage of having direct railway access for the transport of goods.

The unrestricted market for dairy cows became quite constrained due to the reasons already mentioned and the pressure made by major milk brands. However, other areas, such as feedstuffs for catlle, fattening pigs and sheep, became of interest in Alentejo. Nowadays, these are the feed references that continue to predominate in this market segment, except for the seasonal demand for the domestic/rustic feedstuffs range, which peak between March and October, every year, depending on the rainy season.

In 2014, Rações Valouro established a partnership with his distributor Virgílio João Aldeias, Lda., who runs these commercial facilities, in Évora.
