Along with Mealhada's warehouse opening in 1984, Rações Valouro felt the commercial need to launch another warehouse, this time in the north of Portugal, to meet several requests from potential customers: as cooperatives - in full expansion due to the favorable evolution milk production and growth of dairy cows farms. Once again, Rações Valouro needed to find a location with good railway accessibility and the choice was Nine, in Vila Nova de Famalicão district, just aside to the town railway station. This warehouse was built to provide only packaged feedstuffs.

Due to decisions taken under the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) that decreed the diminish of milk quotas, this market substantially reduced. Rações Valouro, SA considered the following possibilities: closing or giving away the running of the warehouse to one of his distributors in this region. Someone with various market segments knowledge on this district, both in terms of intensive production and the domestic segment. The solution presented itself as an advantage in making a deal with our major agent in this region.

Agrolemenhe is the authorized distributor of Valouro for the districts of Braga, Porto, Viana do Castelo and Vila Real, since 2007. Hereafter, Agrolemenhe started to explore the Nine's Warehouse. This partnership has proved to be a profitable relationship for both parts.
